10.6.4 Connection of Four Operator Displays via Three Y-Repeaters
Y-repeaters can be used in a cascaded way: Maximum two further Y-repeaters
can be connected to a Y-repeater. Thus, four operator displays can be con‐
nected to one control cabinet PC. As the screen signals are transmitted to all
the operator displays, data can only be entered using the active operator dis‐
play. Which of the four operator displays can be used as active operator display
to operate the control cabinet PC is to be selected with a 24 V signal. For the
switching, please refer to fig. 10-17 "Connection of the Y-repeater with four
operator displays" on page 67 .
