with a Sercos network as well as the permitted network topolo‐
gies, refer to chapter 9 "Sercos" on page 59 .
6.4 Connecting S-BUS
The S-BUS is used to communicated between the field bus coupler and the
IndraControl S67 components connected to it.
Prerequisite:
●
A Bosch Rexroth S-BUS cable ready-made at both ends is available. It
is required for an optimum signal transmission
● The S-BUS terminator is available. It is necessary for communication

Proceed as follows to connect the S-BUS cable to the field bus coupler and
to the I/O modules:
1. Disconnect the power supply from those devices on which the field bus
coupler has been mounted.
2. Connect the S-BUS-cable (S1) to the OUT connection (3) of the field
bus coupler and to the IN connection (8) of the following I/O module.
If, for example, two modules have been connected to the field bus cou‐
pler, connect the S-BUS cables (S1, S2) to the associated IN and OUT
connections, as shown in the following figure.
3. Tighten the plugs and sockets using the knurled-head screws.
