Test sequence for validating the safety functions

The proceeding is described using a tandem cylinder as an example. For other
cylinder types (see hydraulic diagram) the proceeding may differ. In this case,
contact Bosch Rexroth.

The safety functions have to be configured so that in case of a fault the
motor does not actively reduce the flow.
For this purpose, “best possible deceleration” has to be set to torque dis-
able:

The activation of the SBC has to be configured as “electrically releasing
brake”:

Operate the servo-hydraulic actuator in a defined mode, e.g. rapid tra-
verse, and make sure that the functional valves remain in this switching
state, even in the case of an emergency stop. This can be effected, for
example, by ensuring that process data can be provided for the rapid tra-
verse mode. This prevents a switchover in the PFC software. Equally, the
activation of the valves for rapid traverse has be ensured via firmly ener-
gized valve connectors.

gram.:
The escalation has to be checked with only one safety valve each in order
to determine worst-case values, i.e. one test each with valve A2.1 (safety
valve 2) and with A2 (safety valve 1). The valve currently not required has
to be kept open, e.g. by activating the valve via a firmly energized valve
connector.
