56 | Problem solving
Note: If the appliance is locked for safety reasons, information is shown on the display to give more information on the problem.
Once the problem is solved, you may have to touch the ON/OFF button for 3 sec. to restart the appliance.
EF Wrong gas type. ▶ Natural gas appliance supplied with liquid gas.
▶ Liquid gas appliance supplied with NG.
F2 ECU internal error. ▶ To unlock, reset the appliance by touching the
ON/OFF button for 3 sec.
▶ If the problem persist replace ECU.

F3 Memory failure ▶ To unlock, reset the appliance by touching the
ON/OFF button for 3 sec.
▶ If the problem persist replace ECU.

F7 A flame is detected before gas valve open. ▶ Check the electrodes and the cable.

▶ To unlock, reset the appliance by touching the
ON/OFF button for 3 sec.
▶ If the problem persist replace ECU.

F9 Safety gas solenoid valve disconnected. ▶ Check connections.

▶ To unlock, reset the appliance by touching the
ON/OFF button for 3 sec.
FA Fault in the main gas shut-off valve or gas manifold
shut-off valve. ▶ Main gas shut-off valve or gas manifold shut-off
valve mechanical stuck/locked.
▶ Check main gas shut-off valve and gas manifold
shut-off valve electric circuit.
FC Buttons touched for more than 30s. ▶ Release the button.
Display reads SOLAR
but without
existence of solar
thermal system.
The hot water temperature selected is lower than
the minimum power that the appliance supplies. ▶ Minimum power is 9,000 BTU.
▶ Increase the hot water flow.
▶ increase the setpoint temperature.
Display reads SOLAR
and water
temperature low.
High pitch noise Combustion flame with gas in excess or lack of air
(combustion adjustment is rich). ▶ Check gas supply is according appliance gas type
(NG or LP).
