Safety
Working safely with this machine is possible
only when the operating and safety informa-
tion are read completely and the instruc-
tions contained therein are strictly followed.
In addition, the general safety instructions on page
14
must be followed. Before using the tool for the first
time, ask for a practical demonstration.
• Before connecting the plug to any electrical outlet, be
sure that the voltage matches the indications on the tool’s
name plate.
• Never connect the plug to the electric supply
with the tool switched on.
• Always check the general conditions of your
tool’s cord, plugs and of the electrical outlets. In
case of damage, have them replaced immediately.
• In case of power cord replacement always use P/N as in-
dicated in Parts List included in product documentation.
• Do not remove the plug from the electric cord; it will pro-
tect you against electric shocks and short-circuits from
the mains.
• Unplug the tool before servicing and when changing ac-
cessories.
• Wear all the protective equipment recommended, such
as apron and gloves, safety goggles, ear-plugs, etc.
• Do not work materials containing asbestos. Asbestos is
considered carcinogenic.
• Take protective measures when dust can develop dur-
ing working that is harmful to one’s health, combustible
or explosive. Example: Some dusts are regarded as car-
cinogenic. Wear a dust mask and work with dust/chip ex-
traction when connectable.
• Don’t use damaged accessories such as stiff bits, worn
out sanding paper, split grinding wheels, etc.
• Don’t use your tool in damp locations.
• Don’t use your tool in the presence of flamable
fluids or gases. Danger of explosion !
