3. Route the external cables (24 VAC, CAT 5/CAT6, alarm and/or audio as needed) through
the hole in the junction box.

4. Route all cables from the junction box through the arm of the wall mount.
10.5 Preparing the Wall Mount for Installation
1. Attach a ground lug (user-supplied) to the stand-off on the inside of the mounting cap
with the ground symbol inside of a circle (item 1 in the following figure) with a #10 screw
(user-supplied).
2. Attach the round end of the safety tether (supplied with the camera) to the stand-off on
the inside of the mount with the ground symbol that is not inside of a circle (item 2 in the
following figure) with the #10 screw (supplied).
