Shortening the conveyor chain: BS 2/C-100, BS 2/R-300, MA = M (2/2)

With the disassembly

tool remove enough

chain links to be able

to close the chain

as tightly as possible

at the tension wheel.

Note:

• Remove the same number

of chain links from both

chains.

• Note the number of chain

links removed in the

service plan.

• Exchange the chain if the

admissible elongation

of the chain (= 3% of the

original length)

is exceeded.

Lubricate the master link

and close the chain.

Release the chain

tensioner.

Check the tension

of the chain.

Mount the external

housing element halves.
