Bosch Power Tools
Inserting/Removing the Voltage Adapter (see figure C)
Select the voltage adapter that matches the rated voltage of
your power tool.
The voltage adapters are differentiated, depending on the
voltage, by the colour of the housing of the D-sub connection
plug
26
. The housing of the D-sub connection plug of 9.6 V is
light blue, and that for a voltage of 14.4-V is black in colour.
The adapter housing 28 may be mounted in or dis-
mounted from the industrial battery-operated screw-
driver only when the constant voltage regulator is
switched off or when the connector 26 is disconnected
from the constant voltage regulator.
Move the rotational direction switch
14
to the center posi-
tion. This action locks the on/off trigger switch
13
in the “off”
position, which prevents the tool from running.
Insert the adapter housing
28
into the handle of the power
tool. Insure that the adapter housing is in the correct position
and that the locking buttons
12
engage securely into the han-
dle of the power tool.
Subsequently, plug the connector
26
of the voltage adapter
25
that matches your power tool into the connection socket.
Screw the connector
26
tightly in the connection socket
25
by tightening the two screws
27
by hand.
To remove the voltage adapter, loosen the two screws
27
on
the connector
26
of the switched off constant voltage regula-
tor and and pull the connector out of the connection socket
25
.
Subsequently, squeeze the locking buttons
12
on both sides
and pull the adapter housing
28
out of the hande of the power
tool.
These industrial cordless screwdrivers cannot be operated
with constant voltage regulator.
Changing Application Tools on the Head with
Quick-change Chuck (see figure D)
When working with an application tool, pay attention
that the application tool is firmly seated on the tool
holder.
When the application tool is not firmly connected
with the tool holder, it can come loose again and not be
controlled.
A straight screw head with 1/4" quick-change chuck (Article
number 0 607 453 631) is available for these industrial
cordless angle wrenches.
An angled screw head with 1/4" quick-change chuck (Article
number 0 607 452 630) is available for these industrial
cordless angle wrenches.
Inserting
Pull the quick-change chuck
29
to the front. Insert the tool
1
into the tool holder
2
and release the quick-change chuck.
Use only insertion tools with fitting end pieces
(1/4" hexagonal).
Do not attempt to insert quick-change type drill bits into this
chuck.
Industrial cordless angle wrenches with shut-off clutches are
not suitable for drilling applications. The clutch can shut off
automatically and without warning. When continuing to drill
after the clutch has shut off, the power tool can break free un-
til the shut-off clutch engages again, and lead to loss of con-
trol.
Removing
Pull the quick-change chuck
29
to the front. Take the tool
1
out of the tool holder
2
and release the quick-change chuck.
Changing Application Tools on the Screw Head
with External Square Drive
When working with an application tool, pay attention
that the application tool is firmly seated on the tool
holder.
When the application tool is not firmly connected
with the tool holder, it can come loose again and not be
controlled.
An angled screw head with 1/4" square drive (Article number
0 607 453 617) as well as one with 3/8" square drive (Article
number 0 607 453 620) are available for these industrial
cordless angle wrenches.
An angled screw head with 3/8" square drive (Article number
0 607 451 618) is available for these industrial cordless an-
gle wrenches.
These industrial cordless angle wrenches are supplied with a
3/8" sqaure drive angled screw head.
Inserting
Press in the pin on the drive square of the tool holder
2
, e. g.
using a small screwdriver, and slide the tool bit
1
over the
drive square. Pay attention that the pin engages in the recess
of the tool bit.
Removing
Press in the pin in the recess of the tool bit
1
and pull the tool
bit out of the tool holder
2
.
Changing Application Tools on the Screw Head
with Internal Hexagon (see figure E)
When working with an application tool, pay attention
that the application tool is firmly seated on the tool
holder.
When the application tool is not firmly connected
with the tool holder, it can come loose again and not be
controlled.
