7.2.1 Closing the cover flap

Close the cooktop extractor after switching it off by
turning the control wheel for the rotating mechanism
to close the cover flap.
7.1.2 Adjusting the power level

Turn the control knob clockwise to increase the power
level.

Turn the control knob anti-clockwise to reduce the
power level.
7.1.3 Automatic after-run
Activation

Turn the control knob to level 0. The control knob
locks into place at this setting and the after-run is
automatically activated.

The cooktop extractor switches off automatically after
20 minutes.
Early deactivation

Press in the control knob and turn it to level x.

The automatic after-run is deactivated and the
cooktop extractor switches off.

The indicator light switches off.
7.2 Note the filter service function
If the indicator light flashes slowly but continually, the
service life of the activated charcoal filter has expired (with
recirculation only) and the stainless steel grease filter
needs to be thoroughly cleaned.
The filter service display is shown every time the cooktop
extractor is switched on and remains active until the filter
has been changed and the filter service display has been
reset. The cooktop extractor can still be operated without
limitations.
Changing the filter

Replace the activated charcoal filter.

Clean the stainless steel grease filter.
Resetting the filter service display
If the activated charcoal filter has been replaced and the
stainless steel grease filter has been cleaned, it will be
necessary to reset the filter service display.

Press in the control knob and turn it to level x.

The indicator light flashes slowly.

Hold the control knob at level x for 5 seconds until the
indicator light remains on.

The filter service display has been reset.

The filter service display can only be reset if a filter
service is due after 400 operating hours.
