SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE
All maintenance must be done on unconnected machine.
Remove the cable from the wall outlet. Check the cable and the contacts
regularly. Always replace a defective cable (scores, gashes or cable con-
nections) to a new original cable with an area of 3x1,5 mm2.

Changing the cogged belt
Undo the 4 belt cover screws.
Loosen the 4 bolts in the motor
bracket.
Remove the motor from the motor
bracket and the sanding arm.
Remove screw and washer as
well as the stop screw keeping
the ventilator and the cover plate
on motor shaft.
Put a new cogged belt on the small
pulley. Assemble the pulley/venti-
lator together. V-belt pulley on the
motor shaft. The cover plate must
be centered in its position. Check
that the cover plate is loose and
tighten the screws.
Thread the belt on the large
pulley.
Press the cogged belt to the rear
in the motor bracket.
Check that the belt and ventilator
run freely by turning the disc.
Assemble in the opposite di-
rection.
Replacing the brushes
Regularly check the carbon brus-
hes. The brushes were out more
quickly at higher loads. And
should be changed in pairs after
approx. 100 hours normal opera-
ting time. Open the brush cover
with i.e a coin.
Remove the brush cover.
The brushes stops automatically
and can not be worn out below
the marking.
Changing to long arm.
Proceed in the same way as for changing the cogged belt.
