Basic principle and definition of standard calibration set point value STD
All spreaders are equipped with identical standard outlets (STD with flow-rate <300 kg/min) which must always be
used for calibration. Depending on model type, the L-line and M-line spreaders additionally can be set to different
other flow-outlet positions. For further information please see table below.
(For M-line please also see figure 1. For L-line please also see figure 2, 3 and 4)
Definition of calibration set point value:
The calibration value is always based on the quantity of material flowing from one side of the spreader by use of
the STD outlet:
• with shutters open for 30 seconds and scale pointer open at 4,5
The above definition based on the flow from the STD flow-outlet position is always used as the set point value for
all other settings in quantity and flow.
