Coding, concluding work and function test

If you also wish to install a switch module in the car (not supplied in the parts kit), the
concluding work and function test must be delayed until the switch module has been
installed. See the installation instructions for the switch module for further details.
Otherwise the following work must now be completed.

This system does not require coding.

Concluding work
- Connect battery
- Conduct a function test as described below
- Print out error memory
- Reassemble the car by following the instructions for its dismantling in reverse order.
Conduct a function test
Test the following functions with the car at a standstill and the ignition switched on:
- Insert the navigation CD (41) into the navigation computer (7).
- Insert the remote control (27) into the holding station (28):
The buttons on the remote control must be lit.
- Switch on the side lights. The monitor (18) must switch from day to night colours.

If the car owner wants the radio not to be switched
to mute when the navigation system makes an
announcement, the coding loop (50), white cable,
on the switch module (51) must be cut and the
cable ends insulated.
