7.3.3
External cabling - DC coupling (optional)
The DC coupling serves as a DC interface between the Combiner Board and the externally installed PV charge controllers. The lines
in between are fused here. The DC coupling for the connection of up to three charge controllers is delivered from the factory.
Depending on the selected DC coupling size, the fuse is also supplied.
7.3.4
Communication connection DC coupling to MPPT charge controller
The USB-VE.Direct to USB connection is the communication
interface between the DC coupling on the GREENROCK Home
Energy Storage device and the external MPPT charge controllers.
The USB to VE.Direct cable is always included with the selected DC
coupling charge controller. This must be connected to the charge
controller and to the built-in USB hub in the GREENROCK.
For the installation of the charge controllers, refer to the chapter "Option PV DC coupling with Victron Smartsolar"!

The conductor connections on the Combiner Board must be tightened to a maximum torque of 9 Nm.
