MAINTENANCE and SERVICE
FUEL CONVERSION
THIS CONVERSION KIT SHALL BE INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED SERVICE AGENCY IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE MANUFACTURER’S INSTRUCTIONS AND ALL APPLICABLE CODES AND
REQUIREMENTS OF THE AUTHORITIES HAVING JURISDICTION. IF THE INFORMATION IN THESE
INSTRUCTIONS IS NOT FOLLOWED EXACTLY, A FIRE, EXPLOSION OR PRODUCTION OF CARBON
MONOXIDE MAY RESULT CAUSING PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY OR LOSS OF
LIFE. THE QUALIFIED SERVICE AGENCY IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PROPER INSTALLATION OF
THE KIT. THE INSTALLATION IS NOT COMPLETE UNTIL THE OPERATION OF THE CONVERTED
APPLIANCE IS CHECKED AS SPECIFIED IN THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL SUPPLIED WITH THE
KIT. BEFORE PERFORMING THIS OR ANY SERVICE PROCEDURE, MAKE SURE THAT THE GAS
SUPPLY TO THE UNIT AND THE ELECTRICAL SUPPLY ARE SHUT OFF.
CONVERSION KIT CONTENTS
The conversion kit contains the following parts:

To convert from NG to LPG or reverse:
1. Turn o

the appliance and allow it to cool down completely
2. Remove burner (see
“BURNER REMOVAL”
)
3. Replace main ori
fi
ce
4. Convert pilot fuel (see next page)
5. Replace regulator (see instuctions after pilot conversion)
6. Check and properly adjust gas manifold, as well as verity the input rate of the appliance upon completion of
conversion.

HAUTE ALTITUDE
Lors de l’installation de cette unité à des altitudes plus élevées, il est nécessaire de diminuer la dimension
d’entrée en remplaçant l’ori
fi
ce du brûleur existant par une taille plus petite pour les installations de plus
de 4500 pieds (1370 m). Au-dessus de 4 500 pi, l’entrée de l’appareil doit être réduite de 4% pour chaque
tranche additionnelle de 1 000 pieds (305 m). Pour les États-Unis, déterminez l’unité du niveau de la mer
conformément au code d’installation du gaz.
