From the threshold image in Figure 35, it is clear why a yellow marker was found. There are no other areas with a
comparable luminance in the frame.

Morphological Filtering
Figure 36 zooms in on the markers from Figure 35. The two yellow markers are merged forming a single marker. In
order to track 3 markers, the markers must appear distinct to the software. The yellow markers can be separated
physically on the object in motion, or filtering can be used to try and make them separate. The following figures
demonstrate how using and combining the filters can change the appearance of the markers as seen by
NeuroMotive™.
