change depending on whether the wireless radio is on or off.
There should be two messages in the Messages screen when you
first receive your handheld to introduce you to your handheld and
some of its basic features.
Description of keys
The following chart describes special keyboard and trackwheel
combinations that will help you navigate, compose messages, and
configure options on the handheld.
Note
You should turn off your handheld’s radio if you are going to
be out of coverage for an extended period of time. Turning
off the radio will greatly improve battery life. See page 145
for more information on battery life.

Scrolling and selecting

Roll the trackwheel with your thumb to
scroll up and down through screen lines,
fields, and menu items.

Click (press down) the trackwheel with your
thumb to open menus and select options,
similar to the click function of a mouse used
with your PC.
