3. Select an existing contact (or add a new one if necessary) and click the
trackwheel to view the menu. Click
Call .
The Phone screen appears, and displays
Calling
, as well as the Address Book
information that you have saved for your contact. Your handheld dials the number
that you have selected.
After the recipient answers your call, the Phone screen displays
Connected to
. A
2-way arrow appears in the top right corner of your screen to indicate that a call is
in progress and a call timer appears to the left of the wireless coverage indicator,
displaying the length of your call.
You can end the call by pressing
ENTER
before or after it is connected. A volume
indicator appears below the number you have called. Roll the trackwheel to
increase or decrease the volume.
To answer calls
When you receive a call, you will receive visual notification and any other
notification, according to how you have configured the
Phone
item in your current
notification profile.
Note If you have specified more than one phone number for a contact, your
contact’s phone number and the type of phone number will not appear on the
menu. After you select Call from the menu, you are prompted to select the
phone number that you want to call.
