• Wait for several seconds. It might take a short period of time for your device to receive the

next section of the message or attachment.

• If you see "More available" at the end of a message or attachment, press the Menu key. Click

More or More All.

Some email message folders appear dimmed

If you cannot forward email messages from a email message folder, the check box beside the folder
appears dimmed.

1. Try performing the following actions:

• If your device is associated with an email account that uses BlackBerry Enterprise Server

version 4.0 or later, the folders might become available after a short period of time.

• In the message options, click Email Settings. Press the Menu key.Click Folder

Redirection. Turn off wireless email reconciliation, and then turn it on again.

The email message filters that I created are not working correctly

1. Try performing the following actions:

• Verify that you have turned on the email message filter.

• Verify that the email message filters are listed in the order in which you want your

BlackBerry® device to apply them to messages.

I cannot use a shortcut to view one type of message in a message list

If you switch BlackBerry® devices and you restore device data from your previous device to your current
device, the message list shortcuts for your previous device replace the message list shortcuts for your
current device.

the Menu key. Click Search. Click the trackball. Click Recall.

I cannot send SMS text messages

• Verify that your BlackBerry® device is connected to the wireless network. If you are not in

a wireless coverage area, the message should be sent when you return to a wireless coverage

• Verify that your service plan supports sending and receiving SMS text messages.

• Verify that fixed dialing number mode is turned off. In the phone, click Options, click the

FDN Phone List. Click the trackball.Click Disable FDN Mode.

I am not receiving SMS text messages

1. Try performing the following actions:

• Verify that your BlackBerry® device is connected to the wireless network.

• Verify that your service plan supports sending and receiving SMS text messages.

• Verify that there is sufficient space on your SIM card to receive SMS text messages. In the

SMS options, set the Leave Messages On SIM Card field is set to No. Any SMS text
