Field Description
deny access The user cannot use this function.
allow view The user can view the entry.
deny change The user cannot change the entry’s settings.
allow change The user can change the entry settings.
allow access The user can use this function.
group setting No permission, use the one inherited from the group(s) the
user belongs to. Default is to deny access.
5.5.3 Network Settings
The Network Settings panel as shown in Figure 5.18 allows changing network related param-
eters. Each parameter will be explained below. Once applied the new network settings will
immediately come into effect.
Note:
The initial IP configuration is usually done directly at the host system using the special
procedure described in Section
4.1 on page 15 . However you can also connect to the RAS-
PutIn using its pre-configured IP settings.
Attention:
Changing the network settings of RAS-PutIn might result in losing connection to it. In
case you change the settings remotely make sure all the values are correct and you still
have an option to access the RAS-PutIn.

IP auto configuration
With this option you can control if RAS-PutIn should fetch it’s network settings from a
DHCP or BOOTP server. For DHCP you have to enter
dhcp and for BOOTP supply
bootp accordingly. If you specify none then IP autoconfiguration is disabled.
