6.1 TROUBLESHOOTING / RESTORE DEFAULT VALUE / UPDATE
5.1.1 RESTORE TO DEFAULT FACTORY SETTINGS
1.
Use an USB cable to connect the PSE544 to an USB port of your PC.
2.
Run a Terminal program.
3.
On your computer, press <
ENTER
> until the menu appears on your screen.
4.
Type in following command:
/restorefactconf
NOTE: The command must be preceded by a slash.
After restoring the PSE544 to factory settings, it will reboot and have following parameters:
IP
Address:
192.168.100.200.
Subnet
Mask:
255.255.255.0.
Default Gateway:
blank
Primary DNS Address:
blank
Secondary DNS Address:
blank
5.1.2 RESTORE TO DEFAULT ADMINISTRATOR PASSWORD
1.
Use an USB cable to connect the
PSE544
to an USB port of your PC.
2.
Run a Terminal program.
3.
On your computer, press <
ENTER
> until the menu appears on your screen.
4.
Type in following command:
/initadminaccount
NOTE: The command must be preceded by a slash.
Now you can log in as administrator by using
admin
as both the Login name and password.
NOTE: The login values are case sensitive.
