on concrete to suck up a quantity of clean water.
This should remove any debris obstructing the
diverter door. Is there suction through the upholstery
tool now?

Switch the diverter knob back and forth from
‘Floor Cleaning’ to ‘Tools or Pretreat’ a couple of
times. Does the diverter door click open and
closed properly?
Yes, the diverter door may be
broken. Refer customer to an

Is there any debris stuck in the diverter door (grey oval shaped door inside clear
window to the left of diverter knob)?
No, is the diverter knob set to ‘Tools or Pretreat’?
Fill the Tank-in-Tank with clean tap water and fill the
SmartMix Bottle with tap water
