Viewing the Data
Data
can
be
viewed
while
it’s
being
collected
or
after
a
data
acquisition
completes.
The
data
is
displayed
in
the
following
formats:
Table
Time
plot
Reconstructed
waveform
Smith
chart
These
views
can
be
accessed
and
switched
at
any
time
by:
Selecting
a
different
view
using
the
buttons
on
the
View
tool
bar
Right
‐
clicking
anywhere
on
a
view
and
choosing
from
the
pop
‐
up
menu.
Selecting
View
and
your
choice
from
the
main
menu.
Note:
View
options
are
available
by
selecting
“View
‐
>Options…”
from
the
main
menu
or
by
right
clicking
anywhere
on
a
view
and
selecting
“Options…”
from
the
pop
‐
up

The
table
view
displays
the
most
recently
collected
dataset
in
tabular
form.
The
fields
are
described
in
detail
below:
Dataset
‐
The
dataset
number
‐
a
count
of
how
many
datasets
have
been
received
for
the
document.
Timestamp
‐
The
time
the
dataset
was
captured
from
the
BDS
Cal
Cart
receiver.
Elapsed
(ms)
‐
The
time
(in
milliseconds)
between
measurement
datasets,
giving
an
indication
of
data
update
rate.
AGC
‐
Automatic
gain
control
indicator.
Note:
Displays
“Yes”
if
automatic
gain
control
is
used
or
“No”
if
manual
gain
control
is
used.
Cal
‐
Measurement
calibration
indicator.
Note:
Displays
“Yes”
if
the
displayed
measurement
dataset
has
been
calibrated
or
“No”
if
it
has
not
been
calibrated.
Note:
Check
the
probe
connection
to
the
receiver
if
the
BDS
GUI
is
indicating
that
the
measurements
are
not
being
calibrated.
Transient
‐
transient
detection
function
is
not
available
on
the
BDS
Cal
Cart
receiver.
