If an error occurs, the following warnings are displayed in red text in the bottom half of the Summary screen:
Warning Description
“RF Failure!”
Problem with the Logger radio. Try another Logger RF channel or contact BIOPAC Support.
“Low Battery!”
Logger battery level is low and may not last for the entire acquisition. If possible, charge Logger prior to
acquisition.
“No TX device()s!”
No transmitters are paired with the Logger. May not be an error if logging using only the internal
accelerometer.
“Low Memory”
The Logger is running out of internal storage space. Delete some logs from the device to free up more
space. (See page 21.)
“Low TX Battery(s)”
At least one transmitter has a low battery. Check the Status column.
“Check/Turn TX(s) ON”
At least one transmitter is not communicating with the Logger. Check the Status column.
“TX(s) in TEST Mode”
At least one tranmitter is recording test signals. May not be an error if testing the transmitter
configuration. Check the Status column.
When waking from sleep to perform a Preflight
(see page 13): If any of the above warnings are present, the logger
will beep and/or vibrate continuously until a button is pressed to dismiss the warning.
Using the Internal Accelerometer
Use the Logger’s built-in internal accelerometer function for monitoring activity
and detecting motion. This data is logged with the other transmitter signals being
recorded and can also be imported into Acq
Knowledge
software for analysis.
Various data ranges and thresholds can be set to adjust the accelerometer
sensitivity.
To access the Internal Accelerometer, highlight this entry in the Data Setup screen
and press the “Select”
button. Use the navigation buttons to choose and modify
the Accelerometer settings.
To see a visual sample of the accelerometer motion in progress, select the “Check data” option (see above).
NOTE:
Tap Mode (see below) and recording internal accelerometer data cannot be used simultaneously. If the tap
interface is enabled, the raw accelerometer data is unavailable in the log. In order to record the raw internal
accelerometer data into the log, Tap interface must be disabled (Configure > Tap interface).
