Sleep Mode and Automatic Power-Off
To conserve battery power, the Logger screen will automatically dim and go into a “sleep” mode if no button activity
is initiated for a period of 30 seconds. To wake the Logger, press any button and the most-recently used Logger
screen will be displayed. If no Logger activity is registered for a default period of 30 minutes, the Logger will
automatically power off. If desired, the time interval defaults for sleep or power-off mode can be changed in the
Logger “Configure” settings. (See page 15.)
While acquisitions are in progress the screen will dim, however the Logger will not power off until after the
acquisition is completed.
Resetting the Logger
The Logger can be reset by pressing the recessed Reset button located opposite the USB port. Use an unbent paper
clip to activate the button.
The Main Screen
The Main screen appears by default when the Logger is powered on, and provides access to the following menus:
Data Setup
– sets options for the internal accelerometer,
add/remove transmitters, tap mode options, recording duration and
transmitter frequency channels. (See subsequent table.)
Configure –
set the time and date, enable/disable Tap Interface, turn
on/off alarms, speaker/microphone, vibrate, adjust backlight,
display brightness, automatic power-off interval, User Alarms and
USB Wakeup.
Acquire
– manual or scheduled data recordings. (See page 12.)
About
– displays the following information: Number of logs,
available free memory, and firmware version.
