G e t t i n g s t a r t e d

Result val i d ati on modes

Three different validation modes can be used on the Reading Station computer
to validate the test results:

−

Automatic

mode: all the results are validated automatically.

−

Semi-automatic

mode:

The results of cards read during the incubation period are validated
automatically.

Note: In semi-automatic mode, when a card barcode is entered via

the keyboard, the result must be validated manually.

The results of cards read after the incubation period must be validated
manually.

−

Manual

mode: all the results must be validated manually.

Whichever validation mode is used, when the result of a test has been validated:

−

the test can no longer be edited (addition of comments, selection of results,
etc.).

−

in connected mode: the test result is sent to the laboratory information
system.

The validation mode (

automatic

semi-automatic

manual

) is selected by a

user with an

ADMINISTRATOR

profile (see Chapter 8 - Configuring the

TEMPO

software).

Printing

If the computer is connected to a printer,

TEMPO

Read

enables

different

information to be printed (list of the cards currently being incubated, list of the
cards on a rack, etc.).

To print:

•

Click on icon

“Print”.

Note: Configuration of the default print options is performed when the

TEMPO

system is installed. To modify these options, call bioMérieux

or your local

bioMérieux
