To remove a jammed card from the

TEMPO

Reader

•

Put the

TEMPO

Reader

ON/OFF switch (1 / 0) in the OFF position.

•

Disconnect the power supply cable from the

TEMPO

Reader

•

Use the screwdriver to unscrew the captive screw

(1)

holding the door in place.

•

Release the lock

(2)

and open the door.

•

Remove the card that is jammed or has fallen into the

TEMPO

Reader

•

Close the door.

•

Use the screwdriver to tighten the captive screw holding the door in place.

•

Reconnect the

TEMPO

Reader

power supply cable.

•

Put the

TEMPO

Reader

ON/OFF switch (1 / 0) in the ON position.

•

Check that the self-test is performed correctly (see Description of the

TEMPO ® Reader

lights and sound signals on page 5-24).

IMPORTANT! After removing the jammed cards, call bioMérieux

or your local bioMérieux

representative.
