Manually Adjust the RESP Waveform Detection Threshold
Use the manual detection mode in the following situations:
The respiration rate and the heart rate are close.
Patients have intermittent mandatory ventilation.
Respiration is weak. Try repositioning the electrodes to improve the signal.
To set the Resp waveform threshold to the desired level, follow this procedure:
1.
Select the RESP parameter area or waveform area to enter the

RESP

menu.

Select

submenu.

Select
the up and down arrows below
【
Threshold
】
to define the Resp
waveform threshold.
Once set, the detection level will not adapt automatically
to different respiration depths. It is important to remember that if the depth of
breathing changes, you may need to change the detection level.
