Tactile Belt Receiver Boxes can be Charged with a Connection to a Wall Outlet or to the Display
on the Device.
The long USB to Micro USB cable is long enough to use on the Vibro Tactile System while a
tactile belt receiver box is charging (e.g., the battery is dead). The box can be plugged into the
wall charger or into the display’s USB port while it is in use.
The vibrotactile component will not be activated until it is enabled on the Balance System SD
Configuration screen (see Figure 1.2). When enabled during a training session, the tractors will
vibrate as explained in the following table:

The tactile belt tractors will vibrate:
1.
When the target is hit. Location of
target will determine what tactor
vibrates (e.g., a target at “2:00” on the
screen will activate a tactor on the
patient’s right hip).
2.
When the therapist touches a
concentric circle, it will become a
“boundary” for the patient to stay
within. As the patient moves the
cursor over the screen, the tactor
corresponding with boundary crossing
will vibrate.
Weight Shift
Tactors will vibrate when either of the two
vertical blue target lines is hit.
