"Out of range" warning
If you hear a warning tone during a call,

the sound in the earpiece becomes faint or distorted,

e going out of range of the base unit.
Move nearer to the base unit within 20 seconds, until the
earpiece sound improves.

Battery safety
ONLY
use the rechargeable batteries supplied with the handset.

use non-rechargeable batteries - they may burst and cause damage to your telephone.
