QUESTION:
I remember the LAN IP address for my BiGuard S10 Series router is
192.168.1.254, but I can’t login in now. What should I do?
ANSWER:
Follow these troubleshooting procedures:
1. Check if there is another computer or router using the following IP address:
192.168.1.254.
2. If your computer is automatically assigned an IP address, perform the following steps:
a. Click
Start
and then select
Run
.
b. Type
cmd
or
command
in the
Run
text box.
c. A DOS window opens.
d. In the DOS prompt type
C:\>ipconfig /all
(see illustration)
to verify that your computer has
been assigned an IP address.
3. If your network is setup to use a
static IP address, please make sure
the IP address is setup correctly.
4. If steps 1,2 and 3 don’t work, power
off the router, wait a few moments
and power on the router and perform
steps 1 ~ 3 again.
