Step 1 – Holes to drill
Determine the installation height of the hood while observing the minimum clearance to the stove top.
Keyholes „A“ for wall attachment - use 8x80 screws to mount the hood on the wall. Hang the hood body (22)
into both screws (26) with the keyholes „A“. Align the hood body horizontally and tighten screws (26).
Step 2 – Locating dowels and screws
Insert dowels and screw the 2 screws into the holes with the dowels. Only screw in the screws to the point that
you can still hang the hood.
Step 3 – Hanging the hood
Then hang the hood with 2 person to - or onto - the two screws. Verify again that the screws extend far enough
from the wall for hanging on the mounting bracket so that sufficient space remains for the mounting rail of the
hood. You can then tighten the screws further.
Step 4 – Install air hose
(only for exhaust air mode)
Use a Ø 150 mm plastic pipe or exhaust air hose for the connection with the wall break-through.
Important:
The exhaust air hose must be prepared before the extractor hood is mounted.
Cut the pipe or hose to the required length. Do not kink the hose. Connect the pipe/hose with one side on the
adapter flange of the extractor hood and on the exhaust air adapter in the wall with the other side.
Important:
If the exhaust air is routed to an exterior wall, the air exhaust must be equipped from the outside with
a cover with self-opening slats or a non-return hatch (not included in supplied scope). Contract this work to the
contractor who installs the wall break-through.
Step 5 – Connecting to an exhaust duct or as direct exhaust
It is essential that the connection is performed correctly when the connection is made to an interior exhaust duct.

Step 6 – Installing the chimney
The installation position for the mounting hardware of the chimney. Measure the correct position and mark the
locations for the holes to drill. Center the holes accurately in relation to the hood position since the telescopic
chimney can otherwise not be extended upward in a vertical.
The drill the holes and secure the chimney hardware with the matching dowels and screw.
Remove the protective foil. Assemble the chimney consisting of the base chimney (23) and the telescopic chimney
(24) as follows:
For recirculating air mode: insert the telescopc chimney (24) so that the air exhaust slots point
upward. For exhaust air mode: insert the telescopic chimney (24) with the air exhaust slots pointing down. The air
exhaust slots are then concealed.
Secure the mounting bracket (25) to the wall with two screws 6x80 mm (2). Select the spacing of the mounting
bracket (25) based on the installation sketch or your physical arrangements.
Slide the base chimney (23) with inserted telescopic chimney (24) over the motor block. Now extend the
telescopic chimney (2) up to the room ceiling and secure to the mounting bracket with 6 screws 4 x 6 mm (27).
Step 7 – Startup
After completing the hood installation:
• Remove all cardboard from the hood and pull off all protective foils from the stainless steel surfaces.
• Conduct a function test (see Section „Operating the hood“).
