CHANGING LIGHT BULBS
Bielmeier extractor hoods are supplied with LED lights. Lightbulbs are wear parts and can be ordered from the
manufacturer on demand as spare parts.
However, the use of LEDs as workstation lights makes the need to replace defective lights highly unlikely. Service
life, reliability, and energy efficiency are significantly above those of conventional lightbulbs, such as halogen,
fluorescent tubes, etc. However, proceed as follows if the lights nevertheless fail:

Pull power plug and/or disable circuit breaker!
In order to reduce dirt buildup in the hood interior, the LED spotlights for the workstation lighting are mounted
flush with the hood body.
1. Open the cover plate and remove the grease filter.
2. Now push the complete LED spotlight from the interior to the outside.
3. Disconnect the connector for the defective spotlight.
4. Connect the new spotlight with the connector.
5. Then gently push the spotlight back into the housing.
NOTE:
If the lights fail to work, check whether the lights are seated properly. Defective lights should be replaced
promptly to avoid overloading the remaining lights.
Contact customer service if the lights do not work after the lightbulbs were replaced.

The lights are switched on or off by touching this control surface.
When is touched (increase output)
a „5 or F5“ is displayed in the output display. This means: the highest output level is automatically selected when
this control surface is pressed. The output level is continuously incremented up to the highest output level when
the control surface is depressed continuously.
