For reasonably economical service install a
room thermostat.

Never shut off the radiator in the area where
the room thermostat is installed.

If a radiator (or a convector) does not heat
up, check that no air is present in it and that
its tap is open.

If the ambient temperature is too high, do not
alter the radiator taps. Reduce the central
heating temperature instead by means of the
