Power Unit / Head Assembly - Attachment and Adjustment

Step 4:

Power Unit



While holding the trimmer, pick up a

power unit.



Firmly push the power unit towards

the bottom of the spacer ring or
optional thumb support. Align the
power unit spline with the splines on
the frame.

NOTE: The handle can be adjusted to suit the operator and the work station by pulling the
power unit back away from the frame and re-locating it on another set of notches on the frame.

Step 5:

Attachment Screw



Insert the attachment screw in the
frame.



Tighten the attachment screw
FIRMLY, using the supplied hex
wrench.

NOTE:

Recommended torque of

50-60 lb-in (5.6-6.8 N-m) for
Small Tools and 115-140 lb-in
(13-16 N-m) for the Large Tools.
