Never inflate a tire beyond of the maximum pressure marked on the side of it.
If you exceed the recommended pressure, the tire can explode and leave the ring, causing damage to the
bike and injuries to the rider injuries and pedestrians”
Tighten the nuts of the rear wheel axle or the quick release mechanism securely. If you do not, the rear
wheel may leave the frame dropouts causing damage and serious injuries.
CHILD AND BMX
Includes 12”, 14”, 16”, 20” and 24” BMX bikes. The assembly is similar to the man and woman bikes.
Prologue: The assembly of a bicycle is a very important responsibility. The proper assembly not only
makes the rider more enjoyment of cycling, but also represents an important safety measure.
Getting started:
Open the cardboard box at the top and take the bike out. Remove the buckles and the protection. Inspect
the bike and all accessories and parts in search of missing pieces. It is recommended to grease the nuts
and all moving parts prior to installation. Do not throw away packaging materials before finalizing the
assembly to make you do not lay out necessary parts accidentally. Assemble the bike following the steps
relating to your model.
The bike can be equipped with components with different styles from those illustrated.
HANDLEBAR
Remove the protective cover of the stem wedge and loosen the screw with a 6mm Allen wrench. Some
models can use a 13mm hexagonal screw, instead of an Allen screw. Place the stem on the handlebar
tube, observing the minimum insertion mark of the stem and making sure that all cables are free of
obstruction.
Make sure the fork and handlebar are facing forward and that they are correctly aligned with the front
wheel. Tighten the stem cover bolt. Turn the handlebar to the desired position. Tighten the stem cover
(see diagram) with two turns, tighten the screw cap 2 and so successively. Repeat until the handlebar
holds on to the stem. See diagram for the 4 or 6 system screws. Also make sure that the stem screws
are similarly attached and secure.
The handlebar must be inserted so that the minimum insertion mark cannot be seen. If the stem bolt or
the steering set are too tight, may result in damage to the bicycle and / or injury to the cyclist.
