GENERAL WARNINGS
The pump is designed to circulate liquids that do not attack aluminium, such as water, fuel oil, diesel, etc. The liquid must
not contain abrasive substances. It may nonetheless be dirty.
The operator must always be sure that the liquid used will not damage the pump.
b

WIRING
The wiring must only be completed by qualified personnel.
In pumps with three-phase motors (400 V), check the direction of rotation of the motor. In addition, install a suitable safety
switch. Observe the values shown on the rating plate. Otherwise in the event of damage to the motor the warranty will
be void.
Any extension cords used must have at least the same cross-section as the pump cables. For lengths over 20 m, the
extension cords must be longer than the pump cables. Otherwise the motor windings may be damaged and the warranty
will be void.
Always install a safety trip switch that immediately stops the pump in the event of faults.
OPERATION
Make sure the pump intake and outlet hoses are herme-
tically tight.
Check the direction of flow and the direction of rotation.
For suction heights of more than 3 metres, a bottom valve
must be used, and it is recommended to fill the intake
hose. Maximum suction height: 7 m.
Turn the motor on – the pump will draw in liquid.
For pressurised filling, let the pump run without the outlet
hose, while it continues running normally.
The pump can run dry for a maximum of 60 s.
The pump intake or outlet hose can only be choked for a
short time, otherwise the pump will heat up.
END
Turn the motor off and store the pump in an environment where there is no risk of frost.
