3. Select and check your TV installed location
To prevent potential damage and to increase the lifespan of the TV,
please install and operate the TV by following rules:
Do NOT place the TV on an uneven or unstable surface , or TV
and any thing around it may get damaged by accident.
Do NOT place the TV in a humid environment, such as a spa
room, or anywhere it could be easily splashed or sprayed with any
liquid, such as pool side and window side.
Do NOT place the TV near or above any heat source, such as
radiators, heaters, fuel stoves and other heat generating items
(including audio amplifiers).
Do NOT place the TV in direct sunlight or under spot light, or the
heat accumilated by such lights may damage the TV.Furthermore,
the reflection of such lights on the screen of your TV will make you
difficult to see the image.
Do NOT cover or block the vents and openings while the TV is on.
Place the TV in an open space with proper ventilation.
In the case that the TV will placed into a wall, you must leave
50-100mm of space both on top and bottom of the TV for proper
ventilation.
In the case of wall mounting, the mounting should be performed
by a qualified and experienced professional for safe installation.
Ensure the mounting bracket (optional) is a BenQ recommanded
one and horizentally fixed with supplied fixing-screws to the wall
body, not just to the wall render, lining or cladding. Do not just
glue the bracket to the wall.
In the case of wall mounting, allow at least 30mm of space between
the TV and the celling to allow the TV to be slided and fixed to the
bracket.
Follows all the warnings and cautions labeled on the TV.
