11.1 E.V.A.P. CANNISTER

Gas vapours emission control system. Only for the USA
(California).
This model conforms to the requirements of fuel evaporation.
When the engine is off, gas vapours from the tank are directed
into the EVAP cannister where they are absorbed and stored.
When the engine is running and the EVAP control valve is open,
the gas vapours contained in the Cannister are sent to the
engine through the Stepper and burnt.

11.2 CANNISTER POSITION

It is severely forbidden to remove it, maintenance is not
envisaged. In the case of loss of gas, change the piece. Check
every 15000 Km the state of wear of the connection tubes to
the Cannister, if damaged change them.

11.3 REMOVE CANNISTER

To remove the cannister dismantle the lower semi-cowlings
(see "DISMANTLE SEMI-COWLINGS").
Unscrew the two screws ((1) and screw (1).
