MITTER  DISTRIBUTOR  POSITION  adjust
ments  completed,  check  the  backlash  be

tween the gears.

(1} Requirement

Only a perceptible amount of backlash
between the intermediate driving gear

and the transmitter distributor gear.

To Adjust

Loosen  three  mounting  screws  that  se
cure  the  transmitter  distributor  unit  to
its  base.  Position  transmitter  distribu
tor  to  meet  the  requirement.  Retighten
the  mounting  screws.
