The winner is the first player to guess four motifs correctly.
Tip for beginners
Some motifs depicted on the cards are more difficult to draw than others. They can be grouped into
three different degrees of difficulty. For beginners, we recommend using only the simple motifs to
start with. Cards used during the game can also be put back into the bag and drawn again.

Tips for “Professionals”
Experienced players are always looking for new challenges. No problem! At the end of the instruc-
tions, you will find additional motifs which can be copied, and the copies preferably stuck onto
strong cardboard. Players can of course think up their own motifs and draw them freely.
It is also possible for more than six children to play. Just agree beforehand on how many points have
to be collected to win the game. The points are then recorded, not on the coloured fields, but on a
piece of paper.
Activity version (Age: 5+/6+)
This team version is suitable for four or more players. The players form two teams, with equal num -
bers of players. A “game leader” is also needed, who is responsible for both teams. This may be the
teacher, or a parent. The team whose turn it is chooses one of their own players to take a card out
of the bag. His team-mates are not allowed to see the motif. Now the game leader decides whether
the player has to sketch the motif for his team, describe it in words, or act it. The first team to gain
four points wins the game.
This version of the game can be used with younger children, without a competitive element. The
children simply try to act the motif or imitate the noise it makes.
