Practical tips for kindergarten teachers:
The “Car Cogwheel” wall element supports several different areas of learning. The colour design encour-
ages children to name the various colours in a play situation, e.g. “the big pink cogwheel with the green
wavy disc”.
In the area of mathematical learning, you can consider the terms “big (large) - small” with the children and
show them the difference directly.
The wall element is a very attractive complement in the area of natural sciences and technical develop-
ment. For instance, you can try out the various rotating movements together with the children. Which
parts perform the same movements? Which movements are different? At the same time, the children’s
gross motor skills are trained by operating the crank handle.

Please note: There are slits in the bottom of the wall element’s frame. These enable any dust or wood particles generated
by the movements to be shaken out.
