6.4  Virtual Machines 

A virtual machine functions as a virtual computer system with its own CPU, memory, network 

interface, and storage, created on a physical hardware system (located off- or on-premises). 
This feature allows the user to create multiple virtual machines and run them on the same 

physical server.  
The user can monitor the following information for a virtual machine:  

•

  Processor used in percentage  

•

  Memory used in percentage  

•

  Disk used in percentage  

 
All virtual machines on the host machine run in isolation from one another and share the same 

physical hardware resources. The user can manage operations such as start, stop, pause, and
