Calibration
The system should undergo checks to verify
the operation of the system is within expected
operating parameters. Any element found to
be operating outside of these safe operating
parameters should be reported to Bedfont or
your distributor for repair or replacement as
appropriate. Do not attempt to calibrate or repair
this device unless authorised to do so by the
manufacturer.
Flow Meters:
The NOxBOXmobile flow meters are calibrated
on N
2
with a 5psi back-pressure. The flow
readings should be checked and verified.
All calibration, repair or refurbishment of this
equipment can only be undertaken by the
original manufacturer. These are safety critical
devices and must not be tampered with as this
could put patients at risk.
Pressure Regulators:
The pressure regulator performance should be
checked and the output pressure verified as 2
bar.

the appropriate PPE and ventilation in place.
