3.2 Perform Daily Maintenance
Inspect and perform Daily Maintenance to ensure system performance and
safety.
•
Inspect the syringes for leaks
•
Inspect, clean and prime the sample probes, reagent probes, and mix bars
•
Inspect the printer (optional) and paper
•
Replace the deionized (DI) water in the pre-dilution bottles
•
Prepare the probe wash solution
•
Inspect the stability of the upper cover

other protective equipment when performing maintenance.

3.3 Check Analyzer Status
Check
Analyzer Status
to display a color-coded overview of the system, and
the temperatures of the incubators and refrigerated R1/R2 compartments. The
rack set trays, rack collection trays, rack transport belts, wash solution tanks,
DI water tanks, waste tanks, printer, and LIS communication are monitored.
When the ISE is installed, a diagram of the ISE unit is also displayed.
