Wind speed setting controller
This allows you to set the reaction point for the wind
load of the awning.
The average setting value is between 5 and 12 m/sec.,
depending on the place of installation and the type of
awning.
The typical setting value is 8 m/sec. Please refer to the
following Wind Force Conversion Table.
Please ask your awning supplier for the maximum
wind load capacity of your awning.
Wind indicator (WIND light diode - red)
If the measured wind speed exceeds the set wind
force, the wind indicator illuminates.
If the wind indicator is continuously lit up for 3 sec-
onds, the awning is retracted.
The awning remains in this position until the wind
speed remains permanently below the set reaction
point (1-40 min.).
Setting the running time and the delay times
The two setting controllers for the running time and the delay times are located on the inner side of the control unit
cover.
Use the running time setting controller to adjust the length of the UP/DOWN switching command to the awning
running time actually required.
The delay times for a release after rain alarm, a release after wind alarm and for sun retraction delay are set using
the same potentiometer. The same time settings (1-40 minutes) therefore apply for these functions.
