Note
If a motor is subsequently to be adopted into an existing group,
steps 1 - 7 are omitted.
If the original master unit is no longer known, each
TouchControl in the group can act as a master unit. In this
case, instead of the group button in step 11, the combination of
group button and a direction key must be pressed.
Forming a central control with an additional wall transmit-
ter
In this group control variant, an additional TouchControl undertakes the func-
tion of “master unit”. Its group identification code is transferred to all other
transmitters and transmitted to all roller shutter drives.
1.
Remove the group button cover from the additional TouchControl (master
unit).
2.
Put switches S1-6 to “ON” and S7 and S8 to “OFF”.
3.
Replace group button cover, position TouchControl (master unit) away
from the others.
4.
Remove the group button cover from the next TouchControl.
5.
Note or remember the switch setting (S1-6).
6.
Perform switch setting according to table (for central command: S6 =
“ON”). Put S7 to “ON”, S8 to “OFF”.
7.
Place master unit directly beside the TouchControl.
8.
Press group button on master unit and keep it pressed down.
9.
Press group button on adjacent TouchControl until its LED flashes and
goes out.
10. Release both TouchControls, position master unit separately.
11. Press group button on the TouchControl again, until the relevant drive
acknowledges the programming procedure with a “jolt”.
12. Restore noted switch setting (S1-6), put S7 and S8 to “OFF”.
13. Replace group button cover.
14. Functional check by pressing the “UP” or “DOWN” button of the central
command transmitter (master unit).
15. Repeat steps 4 to 14 with all other TouchControls.
Selecting a group identification code in the TouchControl
If several group identification codes have been stored in a TouchControl, the
code must be selected which the TouchControl is to use when the group but-
ton and the required direction key are pressed simultaneously. To do this,
please turn the switch (S1-6) of the required group to ON.
If several switches (S1-6) are ON or all are OFF, no group code is transmitted.
(The LED only flashes briefly when the group button and direction key are
pressed simultaneously).
