Oven Maintenance
The parts in the Beta Max in need of very little repair. At most,
• Check the venting system every year for moisture and corrosion
But if, for some reason, you think more maintenance is needed it should be done only
by a Qualified Service Person. Repair done by anyone else could easily damage
the machine, cause injury, or void the warranty.
A Qualified Service Person is an employee of a firm, a corporation or a company
that will:
1. Install, connect, repair, service, and replace parts of the Beta Max either electrical
or mechanical.
2. Follow rules and regulations of the National Electrical Code, ANSI/ NFPA 70 or
Canada’s CSA STD. C22.1, or any other local codes.
3. Follow all rules and regulations of the National Fuel Gas Code, NFPA 54-1984
and ANSI z223.1-1984, Section 1.4 and Canada’s “Installation Codes for
Gas Burning Appliances and Equipment” CAN-I-B149 and B149.2.
