Tortilla Making Troubleshooting
Problem 9: Major sticking problem when machine is first used
after being stopped a while.
Cause Solution
Read Start-up section
in manual.
Start-up done wrong.
Read Cleaning
section of manual.
Cleaning was not done
correctly, or at all.
Problem 10: Part of tortilla is pressed.
Cause Solution
Press plate
temperature is too hot.
Decrease Press Plate
temperature by 5 deg.
F (-16 deg. C) until
problem is corrected.
Problem 11: Heavy dark build-up on Press Plates.
Cause Solution
Clean Press Plates
more often.
Clean Press Plates.
Press Plates not
cleaned often enough.
Press Plates
not clean.
Check Press Plate
adjustment.
Press Plates out of
adjustment.
