Bug Fixes from Prior Versions
The following sections outline problems that have been fixed
from prior versions of the router software.
Fixes since 4.123R - Router code:
•
Corrections to the Call Waiting feature now allow full
operation in areas where this facility is supported.
•
If a retry is required for a 'bandwidth' ISDN call (additional
data channel), the router code now correctly marks this as a
demand call. Previosuly, retried calls were always marked as
automatic calls, which could prevent the correct operation of
incoming and outgoig call bumping.
•
The metrics of IP routes are now reported as their last
updated value in the show config command, even when the
route is marked as temporarily unreachable (infinite).
Previously a blacklisted route would be shown with a metric
of 16 in "show config", which could result in the route being
lost this value was restored to a defaulted unit, for example
by Nautica Wizard after a code upgrade.
•
HTML has been improved so that quote characters (") in the
Display Unit Configuration output are correctly displayed by
Netscape Navigator 4®.
•
PPP has been made more robust so that spurious data within
CCP packets no longer causes system problems.
