Nautica Manager
For situations where monitoring and configuration control of
Nautica products is required from a Windows NT server, the
SNMP based Nautica Manager is the preferred application.
Nautica Manager is included free of charge on the Corporate
version of the NauticaRS CD-ROM which ships with CLAM,
Marlin and Nautica 4000 products. It is also downloadable from
the World Wide Web at:
http://support.baynetworks.com/software/router/nauticars.html
CLI Presentation/Restriction (CLIP/CLIR)
In NauticaRS 5.016R there is a CLIP/CLIR Mode (clipmode
from BCC) parameter on each ISDN or Voice port device which
is used to select how the MSN is presented to the destination (as
the CLI).
The options are as follows:
Network: Use the network presented CLI. The msn/sel1 field is
ignored for outgoing calls. This is the deafult.
User: User presented CLI. If the msn/sel1 field is non null, then
the contents will be sent as the Calling Party number.
Never: The user requests that the network withhold the CLI
information from being sent to the destination by setting the
restricted bits in the call setup message, per ETS 300 093.
